To Kingkillah, I'm surprised at your abrupt turn around. I read your review of AC5 where you open with "Egoraptor you're a genious, every single flash you make is amazing." You closed with "We all love ya Egoraptor, thats why I'm giving you a 4/5 and 9/10. Excellent job..."

Now, with AC6 you gave it a poor review. You didn't like it. Your review was certainly justified. But then you drop into Ego's blog and continue your rant, "Now I understand what the haters have been complaining about, when you look at this compilation you didn't do shit. All you did was throw in video games with random curse words and violence." I didn't do a count of all the old AC series, but in AC6, Awesome Center had zero cursing. DOA Extreme had zero cursing. Awesome man had two curse words, unless you count "penis" as cursing. For the mainstream clips, this was probably the least "curse word intensive" of the entire series. The Animal Fat easter egg is a very old audio-only clip Ego did and had previously shared only with some of his close friends. The storyboarding that he did was a special surprise and an inside joke for them.

Then you suggested, "And to make matters worst you choice less popular games." Considering he's been on the hook with the "haters" as you refer to them, for flaunting the likes of Mario, Solid Snake, Donkey Kong and other mainstream games, why not go with lesser known games? But AC3 used games that were arguably less known than this comp. He also only parodies games he has actually played, so to him, these aren't obscure games. They are games that are in his collection.

If you look back through the series, you'll find that in every group of reviews, someone says, "this wasn't as good as ---" and a few posts later someone says "this is the best one you've done yet" so there is no consensus as to one particular compilation that is better or worse than all the rest. You mention in your continuing series "he is taking advantage of his fans loyalty and although I'm a fan doesn't mean I'm going to give him a high score when he makes a bad flash." Again, you didn't like this flash, you're certainly entitled to not like it. But just because others do, doesn't necessarily make them a "fanboy." Were you a "fanboy" when you wrote your review of AC5?

What bothered me is not that you gave it a negative review, but you elected to come back to his blog page and chide him for being "lazy" and for flicking (I think you meant flipping) off those who disagree with him. You said, "when you look at this compilation you didn't do shit." I looked at it and so did a lot of other people. That's not what I saw. It's certainly never going to win the Pulitzer prize for journalism... But over and over you keep stating your opinion as if it is fact, when the fact is, it is only your opinion. It is an opinion that is shared with some number of people on this site. But whatever that number is, there is an even larger number who enjoy the work.

Which group is he supposed to cater to? The group who thinks he should put down his tablet and become an accountant? Or the group who encourages him to "make more?" Which group would YOU listen to? What credibility would you give to a prominent flash artist who several months ago came to Arin's own website and commented in his blog, "Please die?"

I didn't even think it was possible to have such a one-sided mind without realizing how one-sided that person was. It's just as Elder99 says, you're just way too into the fact that you think that just because you think something is bad, everyone else who gives a flash a good grade is a fan boy. What kind of person thinks that his way is the only right way? You're probably going to say, "It's my opinion, and I'm entitled to it." as a scape goat to get yourself out of that one, but then I arise with another question. Do you consider yourself the sole decider as to who's a fanboy of Egoraptor's work and who isn't?

There's just no doubt in my mind that you're ranting like you are because you hate how Egoraptor scored on an awesome idea and made a huge score off of it. If this isn't the case, what fuels the incentive to go against Egoraptor then? Is it maybe how you think he hasn't put much effort into this? Then tell me KingKillah, how much effort must one put to be able to obtain a high score? It's just as one reviewer/blogger said, "The great thing about Egoraptor is that he's able to deliver this kind of entertainment at a fast pace because people don't want to wait for 4 or 6 months for the next flash installment.", and how right he is, since Egoraptor gave these SIX compilations in the MERE SPAN OF FIVE MONTHS! This is just how life is though. People find the right mixture to go with the group of audiences that the flash project is being displayed to (Or at least the vast majority of them), and therefore, they receive the results that they do. I doubt Egoraptor would have as big of a fan base as he does if he hadn't delivered these flash projects in the speedy process that he does. The people demand more, and Egoraptor quenches their thirsts for more by delivering it when they want it.

However, even though he's been delivering at the fast pace that he does, Egoraptor himself said that he was going to stop the compilation series. So hey, KingKillah, no need to fret anymore because he's gone stopping the compilation series and working on new things. I guess that's the end of that I suppose?

I wasn't disappointed by it. I've blammed things of popular artists and I've saved things of popular artists. I'll admit there's been certain flashes by Ego that I haven't found as funny, but I enjoy his humor, quite similar to my own.

I think if someone else submitted something like this it would only get blammed because people would think we were ripping his style. But aside from that I loled, so I'm sure people would lol if it was actually funny, which I believe it is. I'm not a fanboy of his, so I'm saying this in all honesty, not to protect him but just to voice my opinion.

Yes it's true he gets certain liberties and definitely more views and reviews just for being egoraptor, but he definitely earns the award part. He must have done something right to get almost 1000 reviews for almost every compilation. Comp 3 didn't get an award, does that satisfy you? Maybe he didn't earn it that time. But here I think he did. I'm not going to argue or tell you to stfu because I think you're definitely right on a lot of points, but I personally enjoyed it.

I've seen some shit on the front page that I don't like, but I like this, and a lot of people like this. I don't vote 5 for vid game characters, I vote 5 for humor.
